On Thursday 18 December 2025, as part of the Première d'Autore 2025 festival, The Bold Red will be staged, a play inspired by the figure and thought of Leonida Repaci. A work that chooses to portray the Calabrian writer through absence, entrusting his voice to the words and gazes of those who knew, loved and contested him.

On stage, Domenico Loddo and Silvana Luppino, directed by Christian Maria Parisi and produced by Teatro Primo, construct a dramaturgy that moves between truth and poetic vision. Repaci never appears directly, but takes shape through a choral narrative that restores the profile of the man, the intellectual and his intense and contradictory relationship with Calabria, understood as a physical place and, above all, as a moral dimension.

The Bold Red is a work that reflects on the boundary between biography and theatrical invention, transforming absence into presence and bringing out, precisely through what is left unsaid, a living, complex and deeply contemporary figure. The event will take place at 9 p.m. at the Primo Theatre in Villa San Giovanni, with free admission.
