Stefania Rocca in "A Prayer at Sea: Suite of Music and Theatre"

"Where are we today as a people? Where has our identity gone that was based on the richness offered by diversity?". And also on immigration, "we started out as immigrants, why have we lost our memory of them?". Questions that are not meant to be political but have their roots in a reflection that the multi-award-winning actress Stefania Rocca found herself doing a couple of years ago with two excellent jazz musicians, for an "experiment" that became a real show - "Prayer at Sea" - of contamination between theatre, cinema and music. It is a delicate and emotional tale that stimulates the audience's knowledge and curiosity by singing, playing and, through music, changing the rhythm of the words.
