On 27 January at 17:30, the Council Chamber of the Municipality of Amaroni will host "Sounds of Memory", a concert lecture dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Holocaust. This event offers an immersive experience combining music and words, providing the audience with an opportunity to reflect on the significance of historical and civic memory.
Curated by Giorgia Teodoro, the artistic programme intertwines musical performances and narrative interventions to create a dialogue between sound, testimony and historical context. Music becomes an instrument of evocation and awareness, capable of guiding listeners through a collective and participatory experience.
Through its solemn and measured language, Suoni della Memoria encourages us to view memory as an active commitment to justice, legality, and human dignity, thereby enriching the public space as a venue for reflection and community on Holocaust Remembrance Day.
