On Sunday 16 November 2025, Badolato Borgo welcomes S'amuJamu. Two centuries of Calabrian migration, a land that tells its story, a new immersive experience born from the collaboration between Compagnia Teatro del Carro, Pro Loco Badolato APS and the artistic group of CAT at Palazzo Gallelli, as part of the activities of the Casa delle Arti e delle Culture (House of Arts and Cultures).
The project, promoted by Italea Calabria and produced by Radici in Viaggio after a year of residencies and research in the area, takes the audience on an emotional journey dedicated to the history of Calabrian migration. Wearing Silent System Audio headphones, participants will be guided through the 'places of the soul' starting from Palazzo Gallelli: light installations, embroidered suitcases, hand-sewn banners and a solar carpet that preserves the faces and stories of those who left and those who arrived.
The 55-minute experience is the result of the work of playwrights and artists who have constructed a story in motion, accompanied by music by Davide Ambrogio. An intimate and collective journey from the 19th century to the present day, inviting reflection on the value of roots and the meaning of leaving and returning.
