The flurry of events of the ‘Reggio Live Fest’ that will take place on the imposing stage that will be set up on the Lungomare Italo Falcomatà, all starting at 9.30 p.m. and with free admission, will begin on Wednesday 11 September with a concert performance by Valerio Lundini and the Vazzanikki, the band that has also accompanied him in his successful programmes on Rai2. With Valerio Lundini, piano and vocals, Andrea Angelucci acoustic guitar, Paolo Di Gironimo bass, Gianluca Sassaroli drums, Flavio De Novellis electric guitar, Olimpio Riccardi sax, all also vocals. Lundini, actor, presenter and musician, with his quirky and innovative comedy, after the success of ‘Una pezza di Lundini’, is now on Rai Play with ‘Faccende Complicate’ and has recently released the album ‘Innamorati della vita’.

On 12 September the stage will be taken by Ron, a piece of Italian songwriting history. At the Reggio Live Fest he will arrive with his full band: Giuseppe Tassoni piano and keyboards, Roberto Di Virgilio, guitars, Roberto Gallinelli, bass, Matteo Di Francesco, drums, and the very talented Stefania Tasca, backing vocals, percussion and guitar, with whom Ron performs splendid duets.

On 13 September, the spotlight will be on the overwhelming and adrenaline-fuelled concert of the acrobatic Matthew Lee with his band: Lorenzo Assogna electric guitar, Giuseppe Tortorelli drums, Daniele Raffaelli electric bass. One of the most virtuosic and appreciated crossover pianists in the world, he combines original songs with the great rock & roll classics, as well as reinterpretations of big hits. Matthew Lee is a unique artist on the international live music scene and his live show is not to be missed.

On 14 September, the caravan of ‘Musicae Loci’ will arrive, the enthralling concert of Max Gazzè with the Calabria Orchestra, a project born from the idea of enhancing and updating Calabria's artistic and musical heritage. Conducted by Maestro Checco Pallone, we find professionals, identity and folk players, young musicians and dancers, jazz instruments blended with those of the folk tradition, Mediterranean rhythms fused with the tarantella, warm and passionate voices, guitars of all kinds, overwhelming rhythms and Mediterranean sounds expressing the passion of Calabrian music. With Max Gazzè, singing and dancing will be provided by Maestro Checco Pallone, tambourines, Portuguese guitar, mandola, Moussa Ndao, vocals, djambe, taman and ngoni, Angelo Pisani ethnic horns, Alberto La Neve sax, Piero Gallina and Luigi Pugliese violin and Calabrian lyre, Paolo Presta accordion and accordion, Massimo Garritano and Alessandro Lombardi guitars, Iacopo Schiavo classical guitar and oud, Carlo Cimino and Emanuele Gallo bass, Emy Vaccari tambourine and dance, Francesco Montebello drums and percussion, the voices of Tiziana Grezzi, Fabiana Dota and Federica Greco. Musicae Loci is produced by OTR live in collaboration with CalabriaSona.

On 15 September it will be Paolo Belli's turn with his big band. A few days after his return on Rai1 with Ballando con le Stelle, the popular and engaging musician wanted to confirm his participation in the Reggio Live Fest, to return to the Rai studios to rehearse with Carlucci already the following day. To make people dance with his great classics, such as Ladri di Biciclette, Sotto questo sole, Dr Jazz & Mr Funk, Hey Signorina Mambo, Ho voglia di Ballare, and many other swing hits arranged in new versions, his faithful musicians: Mauro Parma on drums, Enzo Proietti on piano and keyboards, Gaetano Puzzutiello on double bass and electric bass, Peppe Stefanelli on percussion, Paolo Varoli on guitar, Pierluigi Bastioli and Daniele Bocchini on trombone, Davide Ghidoni and Nicola Bertoncin on trumpet, Marco Postacchini and Gabriele Costantini on saxophone, Juan Carlos Albelo Zamora on violin and harmonica.

On 16 September, another international event with the legendary Goran Bregovic. The world's most famous Balkan musician and composer will be joined by his Wedding and Funeral Band, a gypsy brass band composed of Muharem Redžepi, goc (traditional bass drum) and vocals, Bokan Stankovic, first trumpet, Dragic Velickovic, second trumpet, Stojan Dimov, saxophone and clarinet, Aleksandar Rajkovic, first trombone and glockenspiel, Milos Mihajlovic, second trombone, Ludmila Radkova Trajkova, Daniela Radkova and Aleksandrova, Bulgarian voices. Capable of succeeding in the difficult mission of fusing the harmonies of Bulgarian vocals, the sounds of Slavic folklore, Orthodox sacred polyphony and the beats of modern rock, these instrumentalists raised in the gypsy tradition bring to the stage a melting pot of styles and genres that will propel the audience into a sweet collective trance. The show that Goran Bregović will bring to the stage will be a mix of his historical hits and songs from his most recent albums, and there will be no lack of previews of his new project. A complete, full, strong and entertaining show that will once again give the Italian audience an experience full of energy and dynamism: a concert to live and dance to.

The Reggio Live Fest will close on 17 September in joy with a grand final party, with entertainment by Studio54 Network, the Reggio talent Lio (Domenico Lione), finalist of Castrocaro, the dj set of Fiat131, finalist and protagonist of the next X Factor, and, in conclusion, the dj set of Fedez, the famous rapper and TV personality among the most loved by young audiences.
