On 1 and 2 March 2025, the historic centre of Cerisano will be transformed into a stage of culture and taste with "Quadara in the village", an event dedicated to gastronomic tradition and the discovery of the territory.
On 1 March, from 6 p.m., the streets of the village will come alive with street performers, concerts and food and wine stands. Piazza Zupi will host the re-enactment of the ancient rite of the Quadara, with tastings of typical Calabrian fritule.
On 2 March, the day will begin at 10 a.m. with an urban trek to discover churches, monuments, and suggestive views. At 11.30 am, a conference on ‘’Ancient traditions and experiential tourism‘’ will be held in the halls of Palazzo Sersale. This will be followed, at 12:30, by a tasting of typical products, organised in collaboration with the students of the IIS Mancini-Tommaso-Todaro-Cosentino. Finally, at 13:00, it will be possible to taste the authentic flavours of tradition with "Quadara in the village", a lunch in the restaurants of the historic centre.
