Pirandello Pulp

Starring Massimo Dapporto and Fabio Troiano, directed by Gioele Dix, Edoardo Erba's Pirandello Pulp reworks Luigi Pirandello's Il giuoco delle parti in a surprising key, interweaving irony, tension and deep reflection.

During rehearsals for a performance, director Maurizio finds himself with Carmine, a lighting technician who is unfamiliar with the text and suffers from vertigo. In an attempt to explain every detail, daring ideas emerge that transform the play into a ‘pulp director’, moving the setting to a seedy car park, amidst swapping couples and perverse dynamics. What begins as a comic confrontation evolves into a discovery of disturbing truths, leading to an entirely unexpected ending.
