On Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 May 2025, Acri welcomes wine enthusiasts with an unmissable event: Open Cellars, a celebration of wine that takes place all over Italy and that this year will feature the Acroneo Winery.
This special event will offer visitors the opportunity to taste the winery's fine amphora wines, the result of a winemaking process rooted in the historical tradition of Calabria. Archaeologist Francesco Gabriele Bafaro will guide guests through a fascinating journey that reveals ancient winemaking techniques, allowing them to rediscover the deep connection between the land and its wine.
Enriching the experience will be the photographic exhibition ‘’The Steps of Solitude‘’, curated by Luca Policastro, a visual journey that tells the beauty and history of Calabria through evocative images.
For those who wish to prolong the pleasure of discovery, it will be possible to stop for lunch or dinner and taste the winery's wines paired with typical local products.
