The Festival of Migration is born every year from the intertwining of stories, cultures and hopes. For the 2025 edition, it embraces the theme of Resistance. It is not just a programme of concerts but a real journey through the municipalities of the Cosenza Arberia, from Rota Greca to San Sosti, passing through San Basile, Acquaformosa, Vaccarizzo Albanese, Bisignano and many others.
The festival, founded in Acquaformosa on the initiative of the Don Vincenzo Matrangolo ETS Association, is now a widespread cultural project that combines music, education, cinema and social debate. At its heart is the experience of hospitality as a model of mutual growth, dialogue and recognition between migrants and host communities.
Among the protagonists of this edition are Eman, Santino Cardamone, Ylenia Cuzzolino and Taranta Nova, Il Parto delle Nuvole Pesanti, Calabria Orchestra, Pasticcio Meticcio and Enrico Capuano with Tammuriata Rock. Each concert is an opportunity to reflect on the phenomenon of migration as an expression of survival, adaptation and hope. The notes thus become a universal language to recount the resistance of those who cross physical and social borders and to construct a new inclusive narrative.
