Masterclass with Donald Renda

On January 18, 2026, the Teatro Comunale in Bianchi, a small town in the province of Cosenza at the foot of the Sila mountains, will host a major musical event: a masterclass with drummer Donald Renda, who has worked with artists of the caliber of Vasco Rossi, Biagio Antonacci, Emma Marrone, and Noemi.

The initiative, promoted by the “Sotto un Cielo di Note” Music Association, chaired by maestro Eugenio Taverna, represents a unique opportunity for musicians, students, and enthusiasts to learn the secrets of the trade through the direct experience of a professional who has performed on the most important stages in Italy.

Donald Renda, a professor at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Nocera Terinese and a native of Platania, will share his experience with participants through live performances, practical demonstrations, and discussions.

The event showcases the cultural vitality of small towns in Calabria, which attract national talent and create outstanding opportunities in education.
