From 16 August to 30 September 2025, the evocative Squillace Castle will host the solo exhibition Lorenzo Bruschini – The Unconscious and the Myth, curated by Caterina Cefaly. The exhibition transports visitors into an intense pictorial universe dominated by black and white, where dreams, myths and symbols intertwine in a profound dialogue with the archaic power of the location.
Bruschini's works fill the rooms with mythical figures, symbolic animals and dreamlike visions, evoking atmospheres that recall Jung's psychology, Nietzsche's thought and the primordial energy of rock art. Each painting thus becomes a threshold to the collective unconscious, an invitation to explore the most hidden and ancestral part of the human being.
