Living History in Gerace

On 21 September 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., the Church of St. Francis of Assisi in Gerace (RC) will host a unique experience combining history and theatre. The event offers theatrical guided tours and moments of living history, allowing visitors to relive the lives of Byzantine monks and the events surrounding Robert Guiscard, through educational displays and experiential tours.

Programme:

• 3:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  Theatrical guided tour of the church: “The life of Byzantine monks in Gerace in the 10th century”
• 4:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.
  Theatrical guided tour: “Robert Guiscard”, with educational and experiential displays
• 5:30 p.m. – 6 p.m.
  Theatrical guided tour: ‘Robert Guiscard’, with educational and experiential displays
