The new edition of the L'Altro Teatro Festival is about to begin, with the 2025/2026 season combining the creative energies of Cosenza and Rende in a single major cultural project. This initiative is the result of collaboration between the Alfonso Rendano Theatre and the Unical Theatre Auditorium (TAU), with the aim of bringing together languages, generations and spaces of contemporary culture.
From 19 November 2025, a programme of 17 shows will bring the great protagonists of Italian theatre and music to the stage.
Among the most eagerly awaited names are Carmen Consoli, who will open the season with her 'Amuri luci' tour, followed by Corrado Tedeschi and Debora Caprioglio in 'Plaza Suite', Filippo Dini in 'Uno, nessuno, centomila' and Giorgio Marchesi with 'L'Amante'. There will also be original productions, musical events and texts that intertwine classic and contemporary works, such as 'Brokeback Mountain', 'La grande magia', 'Qualcosa è andato storto' and 'Serenata a Napoli'.
Two cities, two theatres, one vision: that of a great cultural journey that brings tradition into dialogue with research, memory with innovation, in the spirit of Calabria, a region that thrives on art and theatre.
