Good Morning Ceramics in Squillace

‘Good Morning Ceramics!’, the great festival of ceramic art promoted nationwide by the Italian Association of Ceramic Cities (AiCC), is back in Squillace. On Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 May 2025, the town will be among the 58 Italian cities taking part in the eleventh edition of the event, with a rich programme of events that will animate the town among art, tradition and creativity.

The event will kick off as early as Friday 16 May, with a packed calendar of initiatives open to all: guided tours in the historic centre, walks among the ancient kilns, ceramic workshops, weaving experiences, handmade soap production and urban trekking activities among the alleys. Great expectations for the participatory workshop dedicated to the creation of the ‘’Ceramic Alley‘’, a collective project that will involve residents, artists and visitors in the construction of a shared symbol of the Squillace ceramic tradition.

‘’Ceramics in celebration in Squillace‘’ is much more than an event: it is an opportunity to closely discover an ancient know-how that has made the city famous throughout Italy, but it is also an invitation to live an authentic experience, immersed in the charm of a village rich in history, craftsmanship and passion.
