Falerna Folk Festival 2023

The event aims to recover and make known the ancient traditions of the village of Falerna, highlighting the typical costume of the "Pacchiana", ancient popular games, gastronomy, natural beauty and musical traditions. The programme will take place at various points in the village, while allowing for an exploratory knowledge of the area, thanks to an urban trek and guided visits to places of worship with the help of a local historian.

Detailed programme:

• Monday 5 August - Folk games and performance by ‘i Rugari Nicastrisi’ folk group
• Tuesday 6 August - Urban trekking in the village of Falerna, along the way local artists will perform with organetti. Evening performance by the ethno folk group ‘Alma Folk
• Thursday 8 August - Miss Pacchiana. During the evening there will be a parade in the typical costume ‘Pacchiana di Falerna’ and the most beautiful Pacchiana will be awarded a prize.
