Emigrants' Feast

On 20 August 2024, Caraffa di Catanzaro dresses up to welcome its faraway children with the traditional Emigrants' Feast. An event that celebrates the indissoluble bond between the village and its citizens scattered around the world, who return each year to re-embrace their roots.

This festival is a unique opportunity to relive and share: the popular traditions that make Caraffa a unique place, the rich local folklore, and the human warmth and hospitality typical of its citizens. The event will culminate with an unmissable concert by the Orchestra Tamurriata Nera, which will pay tribute to the great Renzo Arbore and his Italian Orchestra.
