October is the ideal month to explore Calabria's nature and immerse yourself in the charms of autumn!
Mycological excursion
The month begins with an exciting excursion to discover mushrooms, led by mycologist Sebastiano Cutrupi. During the walk, we will learn to recognise the different species of mushrooms, paying particular attention to edible and dangerous ones. A perfect activity for lovers of nature and good food!
Festivals and Nature
October is also a time for festivals, and we will have the opportunity to explore the Aspromonte Park and the Serre Park, discovering not only the beauty of the autumn landscapes, but also the authentic flavours of the area. A journey through nature and food and wine to celebrate local traditions.
Mindfulness in the Archiforo Wood
Immerse yourself in the tranquillity of the Bosco Archiforo, one of the world's 40 recognised sites for forest therapy. Together with facilitator Ilenia Raffaele, we will practise mindfulness, letting ourselves be guided by the sounds and scents of the forest for a regenerating experience of deep inner well-being.
Exploration at the Piminoro Waterfalls
On the occasion of Camminanatura 2024, we will share an excursion to the suggestive Piminoro Waterfalls together with La Manica a Vento. A day dedicated to adventure and exploring one of the most spectacular corners of Aspromonte.
