The Mendicino Theater celebrates a decade of activity with a calendar of extraordinary events dedicated to the public and the value of culture. The celebrations will open on Sunday, January 25, at 6:00 p.m. with a show that combines music and literature: “Encounter with Robert Burns” with Pietro Bianchi, a Swiss violinist of recognized international experience.
The event offers an original fusion of live performance and poetic storytelling, exploring the creative universe of the famous 18th-century Scottish writer, voice of rural communities, and symbol of popular aspirations. Burns built his work by drawing on traditional melodies and orally transmitted narratives, creating texts that still speak to the present day.
