As part of the concert series presented by Amici della Musica di Acri, “Dancing House” is scheduled for Saturday, February 7, 2026. This experimental musical project features alto saxophone, live electronics, narration, and video. The event will take place in the Accademia Amici della Musica di Acri concert hall, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and the concert starting at 7:00 p.m.

The project features Marco Mancini (alto saxophone), Nicola Monopoli (electronics, sound and video direction) and Annalisa Amorico (narrator), and focuses on the search for new forms of expression through the integration of instrumental music, electronic technologies and narration.

Inspired by deconstructivism, a movement originating in architecture, the concert reinterprets the style musically through the fragmentation of harmonic and rhythmic structures, the use of extended performance techniques, and the construction of electronic soundscapes. The alto saxophone's tonal characteristics and flexibility make it the fulcrum of a continuous dialogue between acoustic and digital sound.

This event is part of the Accademia Amici della Musica di Acri program, under the artistic direction of Maestro Angelo Arciglione. It is supported by the Calabria Region as a project of tourist and cultural significance.
