Bonfire of the Immaculate ("A Fucarazza")

The Fucarazza is a tradition carried on over the years by the young people of Papasidero who, with passion and a desire to be together, organise this event every year. The Fucarazza is a gigantic bonfire that is lit on the evening of the Immaculate Conception in front of the ruins of the castle, a fortress dating back to the Norman-Swabian era, between the 11th and 13th centuries, around which the historic centre of Papasidero developed.

The evening will be enlivened by tastings of typical products and accompanied by the music of Calabrian artist Carmine Sangineto.
