On 17 and 18 October 2024, the Palazzo della Provincia in Cosenza will host the eighth edition of the Art Fabrique Calabria Award, with the theme ‘Bitter Earth: between tradition and innovation. Fashion of the roots and the future'. This event, organised by Art Fabrique Calabria and curated by Stefania Sammarro, celebrates the connection between Calabrian culture, art and fashion, promoting new aspirations for the territory.
The event will open on 17 October, at 11 a.m., with a round table at the Sala degli Stemmi of the Province of Cosenza, where artists, fashion experts, entrepreneurs and institutional representatives will discuss fashion, territory and innovation. This will be followed by the talk ‘Fashion Communication: wedding, fashion, communication and strategies’ and the presentation of the eighth volume of the Art Fabrique catalogue, dedicated to Calabrian fashion and creativity.
On 18 October, at 6.30 p.m., the vernissage ‘Amara Terra’ will be inaugurated in the Sala degli Specchi, with Stefania Sammarro's photographic exhibition and the awarding of prizes to important figures from the Calabrian artistic and entrepreneurial world. The evening will be enriched by musical and dance performances and a fashion show featuring creations by local designers, including special guest Federica Fusco Design.
