Beyond Notes

A journey through sounds, emotions and knowledge: ‘’Beyond the Notes‘’ comes to life in Montauro, a project that brings music to the centre of the community through meetings dedicated to learning and discovery.

Here is the calendar of appointments:

• 4 March - Music Theory and Reading (Gordon, Kodály: audiation and spoken solfeggio)
• 7 March - Body Percussion (Orff, Dalcroze: rhythm and movement to develop musicality)
• 12 March - Choral Breathing (Willems, Kodály: voice as first instrument)
• 18 March - Music Theory and Reading (Gordon: internalising music with audiation)
• 21 March - History of Music: The Carnival of the Animals (active listening and narration)
• 26 March - History of Music: Birth of Jazz (rhythm, improvisation and musical culture)
• 28 March - Let's play with Music (Orff, Willems: musical learning through play)
