Autumn Pumpkin Festival

Autumn in Palizzi is filled with flavour and tradition with the first edition of the Autumn Pumpkin Festival, scheduled for 11 October 2025 in the charming Piazza Umberto I.

The day will begin at 5:00 pm with traditional games in the square and the opening of craft stalls, allowing visitors to rediscover the charm of ancient customs and the work of local artisans. From 7 p.m., the focus will be on gastronomy: typical dishes and creative pumpkin-based recipes will take visitors on a journey through authentic, seasonal flavours. There will also be a curious and entertaining competition to find the heaviest pumpkin, which will reward local growers and thrill young and old alike.
