On 19 October 2025 at 6 p.m., the splendid Palazzo Mazza in Borgia will open its doors to the national premiere of Santuzza and the others, an original production by the Autumn Festival celebrating Italian opera and its female protagonists.
A concert that intertwines music and culture, taking the audience on a journey through the most intense pages of Mascagni, Donizetti and Puccini. At the keyboard, pianist Giovanni Mazzuca will give a virtuoso performance of the famous arias that have made Italian opera masterpieces immortal. Accompanying him will be the extraordinary voice of soprano Giorgia Teodoro, winner of numerous competitions, who will bring to life timeless female characters such as Santuzza, Mimì and other heroines from the opera repertoire.
Guiding the audience on this journey will be music populariser Marco Calabrese, who will highlight the role of women in opera and its historical evolution through stories and curiosities, offering food for thought on the strength, passions and fragility of the protagonists.
