Autumn Festival | Inauguration of travelling exhibition with Ottopiù Street Band

In the twentieth anniversary year of the Autumn Festival, an exhibition recalling the stages of every single edition leading up to this one in 2023 is a must. The exhibition, precisely because of this, however, will be a true celebration, moreover itinerant, involving the entire historic centre, which has always been the chosen location for the festival's cultural and spectacular activities.

The exhibition will take place in a series of stages starting at 6 p.m. from the San Giovanni Monumental Complex and ending at the Politeama Theatre. But there is more: the route will be accompanied throughout by the entertaining Ottopiù Street Band. The formation, the brainchild of Ciro Vincenzo D'Alò, consists of wind and percussion instruments typical of the band tradition of southern Italy.

The aim is to bring cheerful and lively music to the streets, able to involve and cheer the public by offering a vast repertoire, from Balkan to funk, from samba to oriental music and improvisation. The protagonists of the party are the unconscious spectators who, from being listeners, are actively involved in the band's explosive performances: sound games, dancing, original choreography, and musical entertainment are just a small part of our great show performed in streets, alleys and squares to involve the whole city of Catanzaro.
