Autumn Festival | A-Mors - Love Triptych

The Ocram Dance Movement company presents a show specially conceived for the Autumn Festival: A-Mors, a triptych consisting of three pictures: "Amuninni", "Africa" and "Artificio", three different ways of loving and self-loving.

Unfaithful, ruthless and naive is the sentiment of the first painting, which makes use of Umberto Galimberti's text to describe love as a form of possession that stunts our growth. Spiritual and sacred is the bond that envelops the performers of the second creation, a ritual made of gestures and symbols that seduce and bewitch. Physical, adolescent and explosive is the third painting that uses the metaphor of fireworks to describe the stages of a lived and fulfilled love.

The search for love is exciting, its loss is exhausting, but it is in love lived and consumed that human enjoyment dwells, the rest is a side dish that enriches or impoverishes. A-mors, emphasises the endless intensity of this feeling that implies an eternal bond, which lasts over time and for this very reason fascinates everyone.

The performance "A-Mors" will take place on 17 September 2023 at the Chiostro di San Giovanni (Catanzaro).
