ArcheoBand in Serra d'Aiello

ArcheoBand is a unique event that combines band music with the promotion of Calabria's historical and archaeological heritage. The brainchild of the Banda Musicale “Francesco Curcio” Association of Amantea, the project proposes a “petit tour” to discover little-known but fascinating places dotting the Calabrian Tyrrhenian coastline from Falerna to Paola.

This is an opportunity to experience a day in the name of culture, where the bands' music becomes an instrument of rebirth, the nurturing of community relations and a means of enhancing the value of assets otherwise excluded from tourist routes.

The initiative is part of a broader programme to enhance inland areas, to bring to the public's attention the wealth of an area that has been undervalued for too long. ArcheoBand is therefore a festival that unites past and present, art and territory, to restore centrality to places that deserve to be experienced and known.
