AMA Calabria - Lamezia Terme Theatre Season

The indissoluble bond between AMA Calabria and the city of Lamezia Terme is strengthened through the renowned theatre season, confirmed as one of the leading events in the regional programme of shows. Art, declined in its many forms, including theatre, music and dance, is brought to the stage by nationally and internationally renowned professionals. A season designed to satisfy the different tastes of the public, confirming AMA Calabria's vocation to celebrate art in all its facets.

The Grandinetti Municipal Theatre, for the 2024/2025 season, will host a rich playbill ranging from art-house theatre to musicals, from brilliant comedy to social reflection.

The season opens with an event with a strong emotional impact: ‘’In the Wrong Place - Stories of Children Victims of the Mafia‘’, and then welcomes the golden couple Raoul Bova and Rocío Muñoz Morales in ‘’Buongiorno Papà‘’, a delicate reflection on fatherhood and family ties. The programme shines for the variety of cultural offerings: from the contagious energy of "Aladin Il Musical" with Max Laudadio in the role of the Genie, to the international "The Black Blues Brothers" with the acrobats of the smile. There will also be appointments with great auteur theatre such as "Pirandello Pulp" with Massimo Dapporto and Fabio Troiano, and the timeless "Othello" interpreted by Giuseppe Cederna. The music section deserves a special mention, which includes the concert "Cento storie per cento canzoni" by Luca Barbarossa and the exciting "Where Gospel Lives" with the Benedict Gospel Choir directed by Richard Odom.
