The Archaeological Parks of Crotone and Sibari are hosting the exhibition, "70 Years with Italia Nostra. Cities, Culture, Nature and Landscape" traces seventy years of civic commitment to protecting Italy's cultural and environmental heritage.
The inauguration is scheduled for Saturday 31 January 2026 at 18:00 at the National Archaeological Museum of Sibaritide, where the exhibition will remain open until 28 February 2026. It presents visual and documentary materials recounting some of the main challenges in safeguarding cities, landscapes, cultural heritage and natural environments over time, offering the public an accessible and articulate interpretation of issues that remain highly relevant today. After the exhibition closes, it will continue its itinerary at the National Archaeological Museum of Crotone, furthering the dialogue between the two museums and strengthening the role of the Archaeological Parks of Crotone and Sibari as an integrated cultural system.
The essential and sustainable layout accompanies visitors on a journey of memory and awareness, inviting them to reflect on the value of protection as a tool for knowledge, participation, and cultural development in these areas.
