In Gasperina (CZ) on 1 January the great Living Crib in performance

The first two days recorded numbers worthy of a colossal. Which will be repeated in the next unmissable event at the beginning of 2023, on the very first of January. The Living Crib of Gasperina is a true event of Calabria Straordinaria Christmas. A unicum: fully acted, with around 150 non-professional actors and extras. The groups are led by amateur actresses who narrate and carry visitors through the various scenes along the way. The event, in its 20th edition, is part of the Calabria Region's Calabria Straordinaria programme, sponsored by the municipality of Gasperina and organised by the association "Il Sotterraneo Pro Gasperina APS", with the collaboration of the entire community of Gasperina, a small town in the province of Catanzaro. In its first two days open to the public, it was a success beyond expectations. More than 2,500 people from all the provinces of Calabria came to Gasperina, consecrating the event as the organisational commitment and mobilisation of the community deserves. Described by many, not surprisingly, as the most beautiful living nativity scene in the region, it is capable of moving people throughout the entire performance. This is a source of pride and great satisfaction for the whole of the tried and tested organisational machine, which began preparations for this 20th edition as early as last September. About 40 volunteers have been working for four months to give the most wonderful Christmas emotion. On New Year's Eve give yourself a present: don't miss it!
