Focus on the Living Crib in Gasperina is not extinguished

The lights of the Christmas festivities have gone out, but the spotlight on Gasperina's fantastic living nativity scene has not gone out. The exponential increase in visitors did not disappoint the expectations of the organisers. Even on the last day of the exhibition, the number of visitors exceeded 1,500 and many newspapers documented the success of the three days, with a total of more than 4,000 visitors. Moreover, the echo of the Living Crib of Gasperina also reached national associations that set up a Facebook live broadcast on "Terre di Presepi" page, where the beauty of the Calabrian crib was recounted through videos and images, describing its organisation and staging. Gasperina's presence at the national gathering in Rome, where representatives of the most beautiful cribs go every year to receive the papal blessing, cannot be ruled out. Now the aim of the association "Il Sotterraneo di Gasperina" - which takes care of the organisation of the event - is to keep up the name of this crib, whose beauty is the result of the commitment and dedication of the association's volunteers since 1999 up to this latest successful edition. The result took a good four long months of painstaking work to create the magic given to all visitors.
