Cibus Parma, Mayor Pizzarotti visits the Regione Calabria stand

The flavours and food identities of Calabria conquer the Cibus in Parma. A large number of visitors, trade journalists, food bloggers, international buyers and institutional representatives visited the Calabria stand. The promotion and enhancement of the companies that animated the regional stand, promoted by the Tourism and Territorial Marketing Department of the Calabria Region, headed by Fausto Orsomarso, had a great impact.

The story of the most significant regional food identities, presented in the dishes of chefs Niccolò and Gianluca Ganci, caught the attention of international buyers from Japan, Korea, Canada and the United States, as well as European buyers. During the show cooking, the protagonist was also the violet aubergine of Longobardi De.Co.
There will also be an important presence of sector information operators: from Paolo Massobrio, the soul of "Il Golosario", which over the years has become a real point of reference for lovers of wine and food tourism, to wine and food journalist Giovanna Ruo Berchera, to name but a few. Then there is the mayor of Parma, Federico Pizzarotti, and the first citizen of Teramo, Giangiudo D'Alberto, born in Cosenza and originally from Calabria, who wanted to "return" to his homeland by appetising the delicacies at the fair.

This consolidates the internationalisation strategy that the Region wants to offer Calabria's companies by presenting the variety, history and identity of Made in Calabria on foreign markets."
