The Singing Tree

On 2 and 3 August 2024, Isca sullo Ionio will host the 16th edition of ‘L'Albero di Canto’, a festival celebrating the musical encounters of the Mediterranean. An event that, under the artistic direction of Mimmo Cavallaro, promises two days of unique and engaging performances that will highlight the region's rich musical and cultural tradition.

Friday 2 August

In addition to the musical performances, the festival will offer a wide range of side activities. There will be music publishing, traditional Calabrian cuisine and refreshment stands. Visitors will also be able to explore exhibitions of handicrafts and typical local products, with demonstrations of traditional working techniques. All these activities will take place in typical catoi, courtyards, oil mills and ovens that have been recovered and adapted for the occasion.
