The Ice Crib

An extraordinary and unique event is about to arrive in Calabria: the city of Taurianova is ready to host, for the first time, the monumental Ice Crib, the work of internationally renowned sculptor Amelio Mazzella.

From 24 December to 8 January, in the evocative setting of the Church of the Rosary, this extraordinary artistic installation will be open to the public, offering a perfect mix of the timeless charm of the nativity tradition and the innovation of materials and techniques.
