The Enchanted Village - Winter Edition is back in Gerace (RC)!
Experience the magic of The Enchanted Village - Winter Edition in Gerace, among "The Most Beautiful Villages in Italy" in the province of Reggio Calabria, on 27 and 28 December.
Given the success of the historic summer event The Enchanted Village (which usually takes place in July), Gerace hosts the magic of the international festival of street artists also during the Christmas period, transforming itself into an open-air stage.
What is the Enchanted Village festival? The street art festival that fills the alleys, squares and panoramic views of the medieval town of Gerace with entertainment and joy. The key to the success of the festival, which debuted in 1999, is the use of street art as a means of promoting the cultural heritage of the historic centre, an ideal setting for this type of performance. In addition to highlighting the beauty of the artistic heritage, the event also aims to make local traditions and food and wine known: for the entire duration, in fact, it will be possible to taste typical local products thanks to the presence of refreshment points set up for the occasion by the community.
