Strongoli Living Crib

On 26 and 27 December 2023, the historic event of the Living Crib, now in its 11th edition, returns to the Castle of Strongoli.

The community of Strongoli is preparing to experience yet another exceptional event. The magic of Christmas with the Living Crib between history and traditions. The event will take place on the two evenings of 26 and 27 December 2023 in Piazza Castello (starting at 7 p.m.) where it will be staged again as a major event. Given the numerous past appearances, the edition will be staged inside the Castle, which, for the second time after restoration, reopens its doors to the public. There will be 14 scenes, with around 200 participants, with settings and costumes from the time of Jesus' birth.

There will also be other events to allow visitors to experience the city. On the evening of Tuesday 26 December, the Christmas markets will be set up, while Wednesday 27 will be accompanied by the "Calici sotto le stelle" initiative with wine tastings of the Costa dei Saraceni and Vallata del Neto wineries.
