National Born to Read Week - Greek Area

From 15 to 23 November 2025, the Greek area will become a big hug dedicated to children with National Born to Read Week, a special opportunity to bring books, stories and imagination wherever there are children aged 0 to 6 ready to be amazed.

With the theme 'Read to me because I like it, read to me everywhere!', the calendar offers a series of events throughout the towns in the area: animated readings, sensory workshops, meetings in youth centres and moments of sharing in nursery schools, in villages for children and in community spaces throughout the area.

A week to introduce children to reading from the earliest months of life, to discover the power of words, the beauty of stories and the value of time spent together. Each event is free and designed to create connections: between volunteers, families, educators and, above all, between adults and children, the protagonists of a journey that enriches language, emotions and relationships.
