Estate d'amare

Estate d'amare is the set of events organised by the municipal administration of San Floro to promote the area and publicise the beauty of the ancient village.

It will begin on 8 August with an opening conference in the beautiful historical building known as "Palazzo Pugliese". The theme of the debate will be the history of the ancient Church of Sant'Anna between culture, art and traditions.

This will be followed on 11 August by a video projection on the history of San Floro. Images and videos will recall past times, old traditions, customs and traditions of the small village.

Day 13 August will be the time for a recreational event for children, who will be involved in a travelling show in the beautiful Piazza Roma at the foot of the ancient Palazzo Zolea.

On 16 August, it will be time for the event in Piazza Marconi; the venue is strategically located at the foot of the former Caracciolo Castle. On this occasion, it will be possible to visit the Museo della Seta (located in the former wing of the Caracciolo Castle), the Church of San Nicola Vescovo with the requilia of the patron Saint, and, finally, to crown the evening, a theatrical performance in local dialect by the illustrious Calabrian actors "Enzo and Ivan Colacino".
