Calling each other by the "you" is now the norm, while the "she" seems something archaic and formal. For example, when they call you from the call centre to discuss, I don't know, the telephone rate, or to propose that you invest your grandmother's inheritance in cryptocurrencies, they use the lei, probably to make it more difficult for you to tell them to fuck off.
