End-of-summer festival

As usual, the End of Summer Festival brings the summer events of the municipality of San Pietro in Guarano to a close.

The event, this year, will take place in two different phases: during the afternoon, in the garden of Palazzo Collice, seat of the town hall, Professor Francesco Plastina, university lecturer in theoretical physics at the University of Calabria, will give a 'lectio magistralis' on the Copernican revolution: the turning point in the conception of the universe advocated by Niccolò Copernico, author of the modern heliocentric theory of the solar system.

The second phase of the day will see the streets of the old town centre and the main square of the village animated by a large number of residents and non-residents who will attend the opening of food stands and craft markets. A performance by the musical group Villazuk will conclude the event.

Villazuk's music is a fusion of varied stylistic characters, mixed in a cauldron that has dynamic rhythms, a blend of country, pop and reggae nuances for a form of songwriting that screams the desire for change, with a return to simple things and the recovery of traditions.
