Clap! Etno Music Fest

A new festival that smells of tradition and future arrives in Castrovillari: it is Clap! Etno Music Fest, the first edition of a festival designed to make hands and hearts beat.

From 12 to 14 June 2025, the historic centre of Castrovillari will be transformed into an open-air stage with three free days dedicated to southern folk music, oral poetry, old-fashioned games, workshops and meetings that focus on culture and its infinite forms.

Organised by Castrum Sound - Suono Etno Popolare and under the artistic direction of Carmine Mazzotta, Clap! is much more than a festival: it is an invitation to rediscover the beauty of experiencing the places, sounds and stories of the past with a contemporary eye.
