Carlo Buccirosso - The Merry Widower

Three years after the end of the pandemic, Cosimo Cannavacciuolo, a hypochondriac widower, permanently afflicted by anxieties and fears, a tenant on the third floor of an old building in the centre of Naples, having lost his beloved wife to the virus, finds himself fighting loneliness and hardship due to the failure of his antiques business, which has forced him to fill his house with unsold goods from his shop, and to struggle against the looming shadow of the bank granting the loan, which, due to repeated non-payments, threatens to expropriate and confiscate his flat.
