At the theatre with mum and dad

"At the theatre with mum and dad", is the title of the review conceived and promoted by the Teatrop theatre company led by artistic director Pierpaolo Bonaccurso. The playbill, whose exceptional stage is the Agriturismo Costantino di Maida (CZ), is designed specifically for an audience of families. Parents and children who, mutually, take each other by the hand and accompany each other in the enjoyment of shows, aimed at encouraging dialogue between the various members of the family. Children and adults who need to see each other banishing the frenetic rhythms of everyday life, sharing feelings and emotions to develop a new, empathetic sociality, rediscovering the pathos that theatre expresses in its various forms.

A targeted choice is also that of the location, the naturalistic oasis becomes a "green theatre" in which to immerse oneself to give form to a sort of cultural tourism in which the scenic performance is placed in an osmotic relationship with the surrounding environmental context. Added to this is the "healthy eating" that the agritourism offers: good, zero-kilometre cuisine that utilises the excellent food products of the local territory and guarantees health and wellbeing for the body and psyche.

On 18 February at 11.30 a.m., for the "At the theatre with mum and dad" review, the play "Piccolo sogno" by Coimieiocchi, a Calabrian collective of performers and artists who promote "artistic and social projects aimed at transforming the relationship with places and the expressive potential of the territory" will be staged.

On 24 March, again in the morning at 11.30 a.m., it will be the turn of "The Colours of the Rainbow" by the Teatrino dei Fondi, a theatre company and artistic residence in San Miniato (PI) that produces "shows linked to civil theatre, contemporary dramaturgy, and has always shown particular attention to theatre for the new generations".

The last show at the Agriturismo Costantino is scheduled for 21 April, at 11.30 a.m., with the performance of "Grande Ma" staged by the Casa di Creta, a cultural association that over the years has developed three creative paths: children's theatre, contemporary prose (Teatro Argentum Potabile) and English-language theatre (Cable's Comedy Theatre).
