ArcheoTreno - Discovering Brancaleone

On the occasion of the month of Sweet Mobility the new ArcheoTreno event dedicated to the discovery of the Ancient Village of Bracaleone Vetus and the places where Cesare Pavese lived during his exile.

Thanks to the collaboration of the Pro Loco of Brancaleone, travellers will be able to spend an unforgettable day discovering what was once Cesare Pavese's place of exile, visiting the so-called "Pavese places", starting right from the Brancaleone train station, passing by the writer's exile residence, the church of San Pietro and the breathtaking Brancaleone Vetus urban archaeological park, the ancient settlement of the Ionian town, abandoned after the heavy flood that hit it in 1953.

A visit to the didactic farm "La Collina Verde" is also planned; inside it will be possible to eat a packed lunch or book a tasting of the farm's products.
