Trebisacce Beach

Trebisacce - Regione Calabria
The Blue Flag flies on Trebisacce Beach, a guarantee of clean sea, attention to the environment and services for tourists, especially in terms of accessibility. An exceptional calling card for one of the most popular destinations on the Ionian coast of Calabria, which combines the beauty of the coastline and seabed with comfort and hospitality, making it the ideal holiday destination from May to October.
What characterises this beach are undoubtedly its pebbles, stones of different sizes smoothed by the water. The shallow seabed, which slopes gently towards the open sea, makes this beach ideal for families with children and older tourists who can swim safely. Trebisacce Beach is divided into three sections: Riviera dei Saraceni, Viale Magna Grecia and Riviera delle Palme. The seafront, which runs alongside the beach for about five kilometres, has several pedestrianised sections and is a space that can be enjoyed all year round for sports and walks, with a view of the ever-clean sea.
Free beach or bathing establishment? You are spoilt for choice, but in any case, it will be an experience that will satisfy all expectations. The free beach areas are clean and accessible, thanks to the central walkway that allows people with reduced mobility, among others, to reach the shore. There are also public toilets and showers, while the seafront offers bars and restaurants to suit every need. The private beaches offer parasol and sunbed hire and services such as hot showers, changing rooms, Wi-Fi and refreshment points. A must-see, both during the day and in the evening when it is illuminated, is the Trebisacce Pier. A walkway over the sea for romantic strolls or to admire the extraordinary sunrise that rises every day over the Ionian Sea.
