Marina di Pietrapaola Beach is located in the lower Ionian coast of Cosenza, along the enchanting Costa degli Achei, and is characterised by thick sand mixed with pebbles and its transparent sea with iridescent hues. It is a tourist destination appreciated for its beauty, but not only that, as this beach can boast two important awards. These are the Green Flag awarded to child-friendly beaches and Legambiente's Two Sails for its crystal-clear sea. The awards recognise the services offered and accessibility, as well as the quality of the water and the cleanliness of the beach, characteristics that make Pietrapaola an ideal destination for nature lovers and families in particular.

It is a long, well-equipped beach with walkways for people with reduced mobility, dog-friendly areas and spaces dedicated to outdoor sports activities. These include: adequate space between sun umbrellas to encourage play, easy access to the water so that children can move around safely, water quality, the presence of beach assistants, equipment dedicated to children, opportunities for fun and the presence of services for adults, such as shops, restaurants and bars.
