Largo Santa Domenica

Largo Santa Domenica is the square of the homonymous district, south of the village, overlooking the stretch of sea facing, which widens towards Stromboli and Capo Vaticano. One corner is open towards the exit along the path leading to the beach and that was once path even with the beasts of burden to carry in the village products from sea and country for daily and Sunday markets. This third entrance to the village, after those of Porta Soprana and Porta di Mare, was mostly frequented by fishermen living in the neighborhood and going down to "Scaru", where they had stopped their fishing lights.
