House of Cultures

Point of interest
The building that houses the House of Cultures dates back to the seventeenth century. Built at the behest of the Brotherhood of St. Mary of People as the seat of the Conservatory, it has hosted the Town Hall until 1959. The former Council Hall (now Gullo Hall) is the most prestigious room from artistical point of view, thanks to the presence of Rocco Ferrati frescoes depicting the illustrious men of the city (1889). The House of Cultures is an important multipurpose center in which are organized conferences, art exhibitions, music and film festivals.
