Hippocampus Bay

The Marina Bay area of Soverato is the subject of environmental protection, and includes the coastline overlooking the Ionian side of the Calabrian coast bordered on the south and north from the mouth of two small streams. Bay are routinely present two species of Hippocampus, sea horse entered in the "Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora" (CITES 2002).
