Regional Marine Park ‘’Bay of Soverato‘’

Park
Parco Marino Baia di Soverato - Giovanni Laganà
The Bay of Soverato Regional Marine Park is the stretch of sea that extends along the Costa degli Aranci, in the province of Catanzaro, bordered by small streams that flow into the coast of Soverato.
Soft white sand, crystal clear sea: the Bay of Soverato Regional Marine Park is a natural paradise and its splendid seabed is a treasure trove waiting to be discovered, populated by protected species such as the pipefish, the giant mollusc Tonna Galea and, above all, two species of seahorses (Hippocampus Hippocampus and Guttulus) which are the very symbol of the Bay of Soverato.
The town of Soverato, not surprisingly known as the "Pearl of the Ionian Sea" and a long-standing Blue Flag holder, offers one of the most Caribbean-like beaches in Calabria.
