Garden of the Gods

The Garden of the Gods is a public park, which can be visited free of charge and is made up of shrubs and aromatic plants endemic to the Mediterranean. It overlooks the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Costa degli Dei, in the municipality of Ricadi (VV).

Created within the spectacular viewpoint known as the Belvedere dei Cannoni, the Garden of the Gods represents a true act of recovery and restitution of a green space to the community, the work of the Calabrian brand "Acqua degli Dei" eau de parfum, with the collaboration of the municipal administration and Fabio Muzzupappa, the project's creator.

A landscaping project that safeguards and restores the biodiversity of the place, through the choice of the most appropriate botanicals and the possibility, for the visitor, to enjoy and experience them to the full thanks to the resting points with stone benches and information signs that tell the history, curiosities and medicinal properties of the 25 that, to date, make up The Garden of the Gods.

Among native and reintroduced plants, shrubs, trees, bushes, flowering plants and fruit trees (mastic tree, myrtle, strawberry tree, bergamot, olive tree, prickly pear, pink pepper, wild pear, lavender, rosemary, hibiscus and tamarisk, to name but a few), The Garden of the Gods is a veritable Eden overlooking the sea.
